Harry’s Ears is the personal blog of a Melbourne family, whose third child Harry was born with profound sensorineural deafness bilaterally. He has very recently had cochlear implant surgery and this is our journey with him to sound .
There are a few other blogs out there written by other parents sharing their child’s journey to sound but none of them are Australian.
How funny that is when you consider that the technology that is allowing these kids and adults to hear, the Cochlear Implant was developed by a Melbourne based scientist, Graham Clark.
Essentially this Blog is for us now and for Harry later in life but the more people enjoy it, the better…
